Clement Khoo

Clement Khoo is a Partner in the Banking & Finance practice at Shook Lin & Bok LLP, specialising in banking and finance law. He advises banks, private credit lenders, corporates, and private equity funds across a broad spectrum of loan transactions, including acquisition finance, property and development finance, capital call finance, NAV finance, green/sustainability finance, back leverage facilities, trade finance, and vessel finance. He has also advised on innovative financing structures involving convertible instruments and risk/funded participations.

He has acted for Centurion Asset Management Pte. Ltd. on its S$588 million club loan facilities in connection with the IPO of Centurion Accommodation REIT, and acted as Singapore counsel to global lenders on the financing for KKR and Singtel's S$6.6 billion acquisition of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres. He also acted as Singapore counsel to the lead arrangers in the US$37 billion leveraged acquisition of Broadcom Corporation by Avago Technologies Limited, and has advised on green loans for real estate development, including the financing of Robinson 112 and the S$450 million acquisition of VisionCrest Commercial. He has acted on property and project finance transactions across Singapore, India, Australia, China, and Indonesia, as well as fund finance, back leverage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure financing, and vessel finance. He was seconded to the in-house legal team of a leading Singapore bank for four months.

Clement holds an LL.B (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (2013) and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of Singapore in 2014. He is recognised as a Notable Practitioner in Banking and Finance by IFLR1000 (2025) and a Recommended Individual in Banking and Finance by Legal 500 Asia Pacific (2022‑2025). He is fluent in English and Mandarin.
