Daphne Tan

Daphne Tan is a Partner at CNPLaw, focusing on Commercial Litigation. Her main area of focus is civil, corporate and commercial disputes.

Her approach is to ensure clients are well-informed and prepared for the risks and costs involved in litigation and arbitration. As part of this, she explores mediation with all of her clients, leveraging her specific training as mediation counsel.

She has experience representing clients before the General and Appellate Divisions of the High Court of Singapore and in domestic and international arbitrations of single and three-member Tribunals. She also has substantive experience in cross-border corporate and commercial matters involving clients, fellow professionals and counterparties from China, the United States, Europe and Indonesia.

She draws from this experience to assist clients in presenting comprehensive case theories, strategies and narratives which reflect commercial realities. She is particularly interested in cases involving technical expertise and works closely and collaboratively with clients to obtain a complete understanding of their evidence.
