Josephine CHOO

Josephine Choo is the Head of the Specialist & Private Client Disputes Practice, specialising in dispute resolution across a wide range of construction, engineering, property, private client, and commercial disputes. She represents developers, contractors, engineers, management corporations, and high‑net‑worth individuals in complex construction and engineering disputes, including matters involving airport terminals, tunnelling works, and large‑scale civil engineering projects, as well as private client and wealth disputes including succession, trusts, wills, probate, and matrimonial matters.

She has extensive experience in criminal law, tax disputes, employment matters, and disciplinary proceedings for professionals, acting as both defence and prosecution counsel. She also provides non‑contentious advisory work on construction contracts, tender documents, and project administration.

Josephine is an Accredited Mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre, a member of The Law Society of Singapore Inquiry Panel, and an Assessor appointed under the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) Act 2020. She is Chairperson and Director of Dr Oon Chiew Seng Trust Limited. She has been recognised as a "Litigation Star" for Private Client expertise by Benchmark Litigation and is listed in Best Lawyers for Construction Law.

She holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of London, is a Barrister‑at‑Law (Middle Temple), and is admitted to both the English Bar and the Singapore Bar.
