Doreen Sim

Doreen Sim is a Senior Partner and Head of Dentons Rodyk's Finance practice department, as well as Head of the Banking and Finance practice. She has extensive experience in a wide range of loan and other debt-related transactions, including bilateral, club and syndicated loans, property financing, acquisition and asset financing, project finance, onshore and offshore financing, and securitisations.

She has acted for local and foreign banks, large corporates, real estate investment trusts and funds on major financing transactions, including a S$2.18 billion banking facility to Boulevard Development, a S$1.5 billion syndicated financing to Jurong Port Universal Terminal, a S$1.939 billion development loan for Asia Square Tower 1, and a S$2.9 billion acquisition financing and repowering of Senoko Power. She also advised on the US$50 million bridge loan financing for Yondr Group's hyperscale data center campus in Johor, Malaysia, and acted on green loan transactions for City Developments Limited, Frasers Property and Sim Lian Group. She has advised on complex cross-border transactions involving multiple jurisdictions, including onshore-offshore financings in China and Hong Kong.

Doreen holds a B.A. (Hons) from Girton College, University of Cambridge (1988) and was called to the Singapore Bar in 1990.

She is recognised as a Leading Individual in Banking and Finance by Chambers Asia Pacific and Chambers Global, as a Recommended Lawyer by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific, and as a Highly Regarded Lawyer by IFLR1000. She is also a recipient of the Law Society of Singapore's Practice Excellence Award for Banking and Finance.
