Edric Pan

Edric Pan is the Deputy Managing Partner of Dentons Rodyk and a Senior Partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Arbitration practice groups, specialising in Dispute Resolution. He heads the firm's Aviation practice and co-heads its Employment and Insurance practices. With over 25 years of litigation experience, he has handled a wide range of civil and commercial disputes, including international commercial disputes, breaches of directors' and fiduciary duties, multi-million dollar insurance claims, employment disputes, professional negligence, aviation claims, construction disputes, and professional disciplinary proceedings, successfully acting for clients up to the Court of Appeal.

Edric specialises in claims defence work, particularly in the professional negligence field, frequently instructed to act for lawyers, accountants, financial advisors, engineers and other professionals. He also handles D&O, business interruption, property damage, personal injuries and aviation disaster claims, and advises insurers on policy coverage issues. On the employment front, he advises and represents parties in non-compete and wrongful termination disputes. Notable matters include successfully defending a Singapore company and its CEO against a US$230 million fraudulent misrepresentation claim, acting for the Singapore Tourism Board in a landmark case against a concert organiser, and representing Energy Market Company in a wrongful dismissal claim up to the Court of Appeal.

Edric holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (1997). He is a member of the Law Society of Singapore and sits on the Committee for Private Education.
