Poh Yee Shing

Poh Yee Shing is a Partner at Shook Lin & Bok LLP, specialising in dispute resolution, international arbitration, and restructuring and insolvency. He advises and represents major banking and financial institutions, funds, and corporate clients in court and arbitration proceedings.

Yee Shing has acted for a bank in arbitration proceedings against a credit insurance company in claims valued at approximately US$34 million; for a fund in court proceedings against a credit insurance company in claims valued at approximately US$4 million; for a regional bank in interpleader proceedings relating to cargoes stored at Universal Terminal arising from the collapse of Hin Leong Trading; for a local bank in admiralty actions against vessels for misdelivery; for the judicial managers of KS Energy Limited and KS Drilling Pte Ltd; and for New Silkroutes Group Limited in the restructuring of its business, including obtaining Court approval for super priority and sanction of a pre-packaged scheme of arrangement.

Yee Shing holds an LL.B (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (2018) and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2019.
