Kavitha Ganesan

Kavitha Ganesan is a Senior Associate in Dentons Rodyk's Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice, specialising in Dispute Resolution. She deals with contentious matters involving charterparty disputes, ship collisions, cargo claims, constitution of limitation funds and marine insurance claims, as well as international trade and commodities disputes.

Kavitha has represented clients in proceedings before the Singapore International Commercial Court, including advising the Government of Sri Lanka in connection with the X-Press Pearl incident, and has handled disputes concerning vessel arrests, security reduction, cargo delays, misdeclaration and quality issues. She also acts for marine insurers in defending claims against insured parties and has advised on cross-border claims in coordination with Dubai counsel.

Kavitha holds an LL.B. from Singapore Management University (2020) and was admitted to the Singapore Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor in 2021.

She is recognised by The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific as a Leading Associate in Dispute Resolution (2026).
