Alexander Lee

Alexander Lee is a Partner in Dentons Rodyk's Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice, specialising in Dispute Resolution. He acts for a diverse range of clients, from state-owned entities and listed companies to start-ups and high-net-worth individuals, handling complex commercial matters including shareholder, director, banking, insolvency, fraud and real estate disputes.

Alexander has appeared in landmark cases in the Singapore High Court and Court of Appeal, and is experienced with cross-border, multi‑jurisdictional disputes, including international commercial arbitrations under the ICC, SIAC and other institutions. Notable matters include acting for a shareholder in a US$4 billion palm oil conglomerate dispute, representing Hong Kong subsidiaries of CRRC (a PRC state‑owned entity) in US$60 million litigation, defending Douglas Foo in minority oppression proceedings, and acting in a US$150 million ICC arbitration for an Indonesian gas trader. He also advises banks and financial institutions on regulatory, sanctions and enforcement matters, and acts for start‑ups, venture capital funds and investors on investor, founder, shareholder and employment disputes.

Alexander holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (2008).

He has been recognised as a Future Star in Commercial and Transactions by Benchmark Litigation Asia‑Pacific (2025–2026) and as one of Singapore's Rising Stars by Asian Legal Business (2022).
