Clarissa Wong

Clarissa Wong is an Associate Director in the Dispute Resolution practice at Drew & Napier, specializing in Dispute Resolution. She has experience across complex commercial litigation, investigations, and advisory work, acting for international banks, government authorities, liquidators, and corporate parties in high‑value and technically demanding matters.

Clarissa has represented clients in some of the largest and most complex matters in Singapore, including representing the liquidators overseeing the collapse of one of the world's largest oil trading companies in a US$3.5 billion claim against its directors for fraud—the largest reported civil suit commenced in Singapore, involving over 60 witnesses and allegations of account manipulation, fictitious revenue, and forgery. She is also acting for an oil trading company in a US$2.7 billion claim against its former auditors for failing to detect misstatements—one of the largest auditor liability claims of its kind, raising novel questions of law on causation and the extent of auditor responsibility. She has advised on domestic and cross‑border shareholder disputes, corporate control matters including hostile takeovers and board restructuring, and legal issues arising from the failure of a critical infrastructure cooling system involving complex engineering matters. She has also represented accused persons in criminal matters involving offences under the Penal Code, the Road Traffic Act, and the Securities and Futures Act.

Clarissa holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (2019) and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2020.
