Goh Boon Yeow

Goh Boon Yeow is a Director of Drew & Napier's Corporate & Finance Department, practising in the areas of Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT), Broadcasting, Cybersecurity, Data Protection & Privacy, and Employment Law. He focuses on complex regulatory advisory work at the intersection of law, technology and public policy.

He regularly advises leading global and regional telecommunications operators, internet platforms, cloud service providers, data centre operators and technology companies on licensing, regulatory engagement, enforcement, corporate structuring and compliance in Singapore. He has extensive experience in telecommunications licensing under Singapore's Facilities‑Based Operator (FBO) and Service‑Based Operator (SBO) regimes, including international subsea cable systems, cloud-based telecommunications services and digital infrastructure projects. He also advises on broadcasting regulation, competition issues under the Telecom and Media Competition Code, and cybersecurity licensing under the Cybersecurity Act. His data protection practice includes advising on compliance with Singapore's personal data protection regime, privacy policies, data management frameworks and data protection impact assessments. He also advises on technology‑related employment matters.

Goh Boon Yeow holds a Bachelor of Laws from University College London (2014) and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2019. He is also a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales (2023).
