Ivan Lim

Ivan Lim is a Counsel in the Litigation Practice at Allen & Gledhill, specialising in dispute resolution, commercial litigation, and international arbitration. He handles a wide range of corporate and commercial disputes, from urgent interim relief applications to trial and appellate cases before the Singapore courts, including the Singapore International Commercial Court, and in arbitration.

Ivan has advised and represented clients in complex contentious matters such as banking, information technology, professional negligence and fraud claims, as well as joint venture and shareholder disputes. His practice spans both litigation and arbitration, providing strategic counsel to clients in high‑stakes and multi‑faceted disputes.

Ivan holds an LL.B. (Hons) with First Class Honours from the National University of Singapore (2010) and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2011. He was placed on the Supreme Court of Singapore's Young Amicus Curiae Scheme in 2014 and was appointed as amicus curiae to assist the Singapore High Court in a Magistrate's appeal. In 2015, he was awarded the Christopher Bathurst Prize and subsequently completed a placement with Fountain Court Chambers in London, where he worked with leading English barristers and King's Counsel. He is also a contributing author to the Singapore Civil Procedure (2015–2018).
