Lai Shieh Lin

Lai Shieh Lin is a Partner at Allen & Gledhill LLP, specialising in Capital Markets Law. She is the head of the firm's Investment Funds Practice and has substantial experience in structuring, establishing, authorising, and recognising local and offshore collective investment schemes for both retail and restricted offers in Singapore. She advises on investment management and distribution agreements, marketing and advertising compliance, and the listing of collective investment schemes as exchange traded funds on the Singapore Exchange.

She is recognised by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific for her technical regulatory knowledge and ability to build client relationships, and by Chambers Asia-Pacific for being “proactive and thorough” with particular expertise in retail offerings. She sits on the Legal Committee of the Investment Management Association of Singapore and regularly advises fund managers on regulatory compliance and product structuring matters.

She holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Nottingham and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2004.
