Christina Ong

Christina Ong is the Chairman and Senior Partner of Allen & Gledhill LLP, specialising in capital markets law, banking, securities offerings, investment funds, and corporate finance. She has been involved in a broad range of international transactions in Asia, including debt and equity issues, and provides corporate and regulatory compliance advice, particularly to listed clients.

She is a member of the SGX Catalist Advisory Panel, sits on the Board of Directors of Philanthropy Asia Alliance Ltd and Trailblazer Foundation Ltd, and is an Authority Member of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore and a Board Member of Singapore Health Services Pte Ltd. She regularly reviews and provides feedback on legal and securities developments, particularly amendments to Singapore company and securities law and listing rules. She has been widely recognised as a leading banking and finance lawyer in Singapore by Chambers Global, Chambers Asia‑Pacific, IFLR1000, and The Legal 500 Asia Pacific, and is also noted as a leading corporate governance lawyer by Who's Who Legal.

She holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Singapore, where she was awarded the Aw Boon Haw and Aw Boon Par memorial prize for being joint first in her Postgraduate Law Course. She was called to the Singapore Bar in 1975 and is a member of the Law Society of Singapore and the International Bar Association.
