Mitchell Yeo

Mitchell Yeo is a Director in the Corporate Restructuring & Workouts practice at Drew & Napier, specializing in Bankruptcy and Insolvency Law. He has been actively involved in some of the largest restructurings in Asia, acting for investors, insolvency office‑holders, financial creditors, and restructuring debtors in both transactional and contentious contexts.

Mitchell has been involved in significant restructuring matters, including acting for and advising the investor on the restructuring of Pacific International Lines, involving approximately US$3.5 billion of debt, interim financing of US$112 million, and an investment of up to US$600 million; acting for statutory boards of the Republic of Singapore in relation to the US$1.6 billion debt restructuring of Hyflux Ltd; acting for the debtor group in the restructuring of Pacific Radiance Limited of up to S$1 billion of debt; and acting for the independent financial advisors and judicial managers of the Swissco group in its debt restructuring of approximately US$300 million. He also has extensive experience in corporate and individual insolvency matters, including liquidation, judicial management, and bankruptcy proceedings.

Mitchell holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (2014) and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2015. He has been recognised in The Asia Pacific Legal 500 as a Recommended Lawyer, described as "outstanding" and "clearly lifting above his weight class."
