Renu Menon

Renu Menon is the Co-Head of Banking & Finance and a Director in the Corporate & Finance practice at Drew & Napier, specializing in Banking and Finance Law. She advises on a range of financing matters, including bilateral and syndicated loans, acquisition financing, debt restructuring, and debt capital markets, as well as mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters.

Renu has acted as Singapore Counsel to Pfizer Inc. in the fourth‑largest US bond sale ever at US$31 billion (winner of the Debt Market Deal of the Year at the ALB SE Asia Law Awards 2024 and the Securities Deal of the Year at the Asia Legal Awards 2024), and to International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) in a US$5.5 billion bond offering. She has also advised on the establishment of multicurrency medium term note programmes for OUE Treasury Pte Ltd (S$3 billion), Hotel Properties Limited (S$1 billion), and Tuan Sing Holdings Limited (S$900 million).

Renu holds an LL.B. (Second Upper Hons) from Durham University (2006). She was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2008 and as a Lawyer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia in 2011. Prior to joining Drew & Napier in 2014, she gained experience in dispute resolution in Singapore and banking and finance in Australia.
