Samuel YAP

Samuel Yap is a Partner in the Commercial & Corporate Disputes Practice, specialising in dispute resolution, litigation, arbitration, and regulatory investigations. He advises clients on corporate and regulatory investigations, employment, regulatory and criminal disputes (including workplace safety and health matters), and commercial and corporate disputes. He has advised Singapore‑listed entities, international banks, and financial services providers.

Prior to joining the firm, Samuel was a Deputy Public Prosecutor and State Counsel in the Attorney‑General's Chambers, where he was involved in criminal prosecutions and appeals at all levels of the Singapore Courts on a wide range of offences. His experience in both prosecution and private practice gives him a comprehensive perspective on complex dispute resolution and regulatory matters.

Samuel holds an LL.B. from the Singapore Management University, where he was part of the winning team of the International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition and LAWASIA International Moot Competition. He was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2016.
