Wu Zhaoqi

Wu Zhaoqi is a Partner at Allen & Gledhill, specialising in capital markets law and corporate governance. She advises issuers and underwriters on a wide range of capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings, rights issues of equity, debt and warrants, placements, establishment of debt issuance programmes, and offerings of straight debt, retail bonds, convertible and exchangeable bonds, and perpetual securities.

Zhaoqi has advised on landmark transactions including Foundation Healthcare Holdings Limited on its S$242 million IPO, the largest IPO of a healthcare services provider on the SGX since 2012; JustCo Holdings Limited on its S$100 million IPO, the first company to list on the SGX Main Board in 2026; the lead managers for Singapore Airlines Limited's S$8.8 billion rights issue in 2020 and S$6.2 billion rights issue in 2021, which were Singapore's largest and second largest ever rights issues; Temasek Holdings on the establishment of its S$5 billion Guaranteed Medium Term Note Programme; OUE Limited on its concurrent offering of S$304.7 million convertible and exchangeable bonds; and Macquarie APTT Management on the S$1.39 billion IPO of Asian Pay Television Trust, the first pay‑TV trust listed on the SGX. She also advises issuers on post‑listing regulatory and compliance matters.

Zhaoqi holds an M.A. (Jurisprudence) from the University of Oxford and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2009. She joined Allen & Gledhill the same year and was seconded to the London office of Linklaters LLP in 2010/2011. She is recognised by The Legal 500, IFLR1000, and Lexology Index Southeast Asia as a leading lawyer in capital markets.
