Ajinderpal Singh

Ajinderpal Singh is a Senior Partner in Dentons Rodyk's Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Arbitration practice groups. He is a leading practitioner in restructuring and insolvency, international arbitration and cross-border disputes, and also co-heads the firm's restructuring and insolvency, white-collar investigations and competition law practices.

He has acted for liquidators, receivers, judicial managers, trustees, creditors and corporate clients in both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters, including schemes of arrangement, cross-border asset recovery and restructuring across multiple jurisdictions. In the arbitration space, he has handled numerous ICC and SIAC arbitrations involving oil and gas, joint venture, M&A, infrastructure and commodities disputes, with claims ranging from tens to hundreds of millions. He also regularly advises on enforcement and setting-aside of arbitral awards, and has appeared in many of the leading reported cases on arbitration-related matters before the Singapore Courts. His litigation practice extends to shareholder disputes, financial disputes and competition investigations, including representing clients before the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore.

Ajinderpal graduated from the University of Leeds with an LL.B (Hons).

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators, and serves on the Panel of Arbitrators of the Asian International Arbitration Centre, the SIAC Insolvency Panel of Arbitrators, the SIAC Reserve Panel, and the Dubai International Arbitration Centre List of Arbitrators. He is consistently ranked as a Leading Individual for Restructuring and Insolvency by Chambers Asia-Pacific and recognised by The Legal 500, Benchmark Litigation and Asialaw across dispute resolution, international arbitration and white-collar crime. He is also co-author of the Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution Act Compendium (LexisNexis, 2020).
