Foo Yuet Min

Foo Yuet Min is a Managing Director in Drew & Napier's Dispute Resolution practice, focusing on international arbitration and complex commercial litigation. She regularly appears before the Singapore Courts as lead counsel and has acted in SIAC and ICC arbitrations as well as arbitration-related Court proceedings.

She has successfully handled complex, high-value matters ranging from offshore drilling contracts, powerplant disputes and energy sector disputes, to disputes relating to commercial rights to major sports events and banking and finance disputes. Notable successes include obtaining a worldwide Mareva injunction for over US$26 million in aid of a Thailand-seated arbitration concerning petroleum concessions; recovering more than $20 million under high-value offshore equipment contracts; successfully defending a claim for over US$130 million in a dispute involving international broadcasting rights for a major sports event; and representing the Respondent contractor in the landmark Singapore Court of Appeal decision in PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) TBK v CRW Joint Operation, a significant decision on the enforceability of interim arbitral awards under FIDIC Contracts.

Foo Yuet Min holds an LL.B (First Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore (2006) and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2008. She previously served as a Justices' Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of Singapore and was appointed to the Supreme Court's Young Amicus Curiae Scheme in 2010–2011.

She has been appointed arbitrator in SIAC, ICC, and ad hoc international arbitrations and is recognised as a leading practitioner in Dispute Resolution and International Arbitration by multiple publications. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, Malay and the Hokkien dialect.
