Charmelia Sugianto

Charmelia Sugianto is a Partner at Allen & Gledhill LLP, specialising in Construction Law. She advises on project development across diverse industry sectors and jurisdictions, focusing on procurement strategy, project documentation, risk management, and dispute resolution. She is an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore and admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of England and Wales.

Her portfolio encompasses complex projects across energy and infrastructure sectors, including transport, oil and gas, renewable energy, hydrogen and carbon capture, nuclear, water and waste plants, digital infrastructure, pharmaceutical, logistics, hospitality, commercial and residential projects. She has advised government and government‑linked entities on public sector infrastructure projects including rail, road, power and utilities projects, and advised key industry players on the development, operation and maintenance of power plants, LNG facilities, water and waste facilities, data centres, pharmaceutical and logistics facilities in Asia, as well as nuclear, hydrogen, and carbon capture projects in Europe and Africa. She is experienced in advising on bespoke project documentation, including concession agreements, public‑private partnerships, build‑to‑suit agreements and target price contracts, as well as internationally recognised standard forms.

She holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2011. She was part of the inaugural batch of practitioners to be recognised as Accredited Specialists in Building and Construction Law by the Singapore Academy of Law and is an Accredited Mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre. She has been identified as a "Next Generation Partner" in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific and was seconded to Keating Chambers (2018/2019) and Slaughter and May (2023/2024).
