Cheow Ying

Cheow Ying is a Partner in Dentons Rodyk's Corporate Practice, specialising in Corporate Law. She focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital markets and general corporate matters, with over seven years of practice experience.

Cheow Ying has contributed to high-profile cross-border and competitive bidding deals across private equity, real estate, healthcare, construction and technology. Notable transactions include advising BYD Electronic on its US$2.2 billion acquisition of Jabil Inc's mobility business in China, acting for Thomson Medical Group on the S$517.1 million acquisition of Vietnam's FV Hospital, and advising Korzinka on a US$110 million equity investment from Abu Dhabi Uzbek Investment and Omani sovereign funds. She also advised Nuveen Real Estate on the S$1.28 billion acquisition of One George Street and acted as an advisor to KKR on its US$15 billion acquisition of CyrusOne.

Cheow Ying holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Singapore Management University and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2019. She is a member of the Law Society of Singapore and the Singapore Academy of Law.
