Christopher Chong

Christopher Chong is a Senior Partner in Dentons Rodyk's Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Arbitration practice groups and Co-Head of the Professional Liability/Healthcare and Insurance practices, specialising in Dispute Resolution. His main areas of practice are in professional malpractice, commercial litigation and insurance.

Christopher has defended hospitals and medical practitioners in medical negligence suits in both the High Court and the State Courts, and has represented professionals in disciplinary proceedings before the Singapore Medical Council. He has acted for commercial entities in joint venture disputes and contractual disputes, and advised on employment agreements, restrictive covenants and wrongful termination claims. He supervises the personal injury insurance work within the Firm and is experienced in litigation, mediation and arbitration under SIAC and ICC Rules.

Christopher holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Bristol (1992). He is a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators and has been appointed to ethics committees reviewing clinical trials conducted in Singapore.
