Daphne Koo

Daphne Koo is a Counsel (Foreign Law) at Allen & Gledhill LLP, specialising in Employment Law. She advises multinational and local employers on a full range of HR-related issues, including drafting employment contracts, establishing and implementing HR policies, managing performance and disciplinary processes, reductions in force, and other employment and industrial relations matters.

She also has experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors, including preparation and negotiation of project documentation for infrastructure and public-private partnership projects, and advises on general corporate and commercial transactions including project development and structuring, operation and maintenance arrangements, distribution and agency agreements, and supply of goods and services arrangements.

Prior to joining Allen & Gledhill in 2022, she was a Partner in the litigation practice of Rahmat Lim & Partners, the firm's associate law firm in Malaysia, where she regularly undertook advisory work on commercial, employment, and industrial relations matters and appeared at various levels of the Malaysian courts.

She holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of London and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2006.
