Fock Kah Yan

Fock Kah Yan is a Partner at Allen & Gledhill, specialising in real estate law, real estate investment trusts, and corporate real estate. Her areas of expertise span REITs, special facilities projects, acquisitions, divestments and anchor leasing, advising real estate investment trusts, private equity property funds, private and public companies, multinational corporations, government agencies, and developers.

Kah Yan has advised on the S$333 million divestment of a portfolio of four industrial properties by an entity within the Cycle & Carriage Singapore group, with a leaseback of the properties; the manager of Frasers Commercial Trust on the S$810.8 million divestment of Cross Street Exchange; the manager of Keppel REIT on the S$547.5 million divestment of Bugis Junction Tower; a fund managed by Savills Fund Management GmbH on the S$530.8 million divestment of 77 Robinson Road; and the acquisition of Singapore properties for the initial portfolio of Frasers Hospitality Trust for its initial public offering. Her broad experience includes direct and indirect acquisitions and divestments of real estate, anchor leasing, special facilities projects, real estate project financing, banking and mortgage finance, and development and sale of residential and commercial projects.

Kah Yan holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and was called to the Singapore Bar in 1990, when she joined Allen & Gledhill.
