Han Junwei

Han Junwei is a Partner at Allen & Gledhill and Co‑Head of the Firm's Private Wealth Practice, specialising in tax advisory law, private wealth structuring, and cross‑border tax. He has deep expertise in Singapore tax law across income tax, stamp duty, and goods and services tax, and extensive experience on cross‑border tax matters across the Asia‑Pacific region.

Junwei regularly assists multinational enterprises and high‑net‑worth individuals on complex, multi‑jurisdictional tax issues, including private wealth structuring, fund structuring, private equity and real estate investments, cross‑border financing, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate reorganisations. He also advises family offices and high‑net‑worth individuals on trusts, philanthropy, and immigration matters. His practice extends to tax reporting considerations under FATCA and CRS, the 'Pillar 2' global minimum tax, as well as contentious tax matters before the Board of Review or the Singapore Courts.

Junwei holds an LL.B. from the National University of Singapore and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2016. He is an Accredited Tax Advisor (Income Tax) with Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals.

He is a committee member of the Tax & Trusts Committee within the Law Society of Singapore.
