Shu Yih Ng

Shu Yih Ng is a Senior Associate in Dentons Rodyk's Tax and Trusts, Estates and Wealth Preservation practice, specialising in Tax Advisory Law. He advises multinational corporations and institutional clients on a broad range of cross-border tax structuring issues, covering all aspects of Singapore taxes including income tax, BEPS Pillar 2, stamp duty, transfer pricing and goods and services tax.

Shu Yih has acted for multinational corporations, financial institutions, blockchain companies, real estate developers, funds, insurers, high-net-worth individuals and family offices. His practice also extends to tax controversy and dispute resolution, where he has represented taxpayers before the tax authorities at various stages including advance rulings, audit, objection and appeal, on issues such as tax incentive disputes, tax residency, tax characterisation and intellectual property writing-down allowances. Prior to joining Dentons, he was a corporate lawyer focusing on cross-border transactions, finance and restructuring.

Shu Yih holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (2019) and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2020. He is a member of the Law Society of Singapore and the Singapore Academy of Law.

He is recognised in International Tax Review (ITR) World Tax in the area of General Corporate Tax (2026).
