Ho Kin San

Ho Kin San is Co-Head of the Corporate Real Estate Department at Allen & Gledhill LLP, specialising in Real Estate Law. He has over 30 years of experience in corporate real estate work, including large-scale property acquisitions and divestments, the establishment of REITs, asset securitisation, property joint ventures, joint developments, master leasing, and build-to-suit projects across all property sectors, including retail malls, office complexes, industrial buildings, hotels, serviced apartments, and healthcare buildings. He is regularly recognised in independent legal directories, with Chambers Asia-Pacific ranking him as a leading real estate practitioner and noting that he “earns praise for his deft handling of corporate real estate issues” and has “a prominent reputation for REIT work.”

He has advised Far East Organization, Sekisui House, and Sino Group in their S$1.21 billion acquisition of a land parcel at Holland Road for a mixed commercial and residential project, Lendlease Corporation Limited in the establishment of Lendlease Global Commercial REIT including the S$1.003 billion acquisition of 313@Somerset, and two of the largest public listed property developers in Singapore in their acquisition of a 99‑year leasehold interest in the land parcel at Sengkang Central for approximately S$778 million. He also advised Surbana Jurong in a built‑to‑suit and master lease transaction for its new campus and global headquarters in Singapore, and advised Warburg Pincus LLC and Lendlease Corporation in the acquisition of approximately S$1.6 billion portfolio of industrial assets in Singapore.

Ho Kin San holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (1987) and an LL.M. specialising in Commercial and Corporate Law from King's College, London (1991). He has been a member of the Singapore Bar since 1988. He is a contributor to the Halsbury's Laws of Singapore chapter on Land and to Thomson Reuters Practical Law's Corporate Real Estate Global Guide.
