Janet Tan

Janet Tan is a Partner in the Corporate Practice at Dentons Rodyk, specialising in capital markets law, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. She has spent more than 20 years focusing on equity markets transactions, including stock market flotations, equity offerings, rights issues, bonus issues, and private placements, and provides post-listing legal services to companies listed on the SGX-ST Mainboard and Catalist.

Janet has advised Samko Timber Limited on a renounceable non-underwritten rights issue of up to 7.2 billion new shares; Aspial Lifestyle Limited on a rights issue of up to 311.8 million new shares; Sysma Holdings Limited on a voluntary conditional cash offer; Debao Property Development Limited on its IPO on the SGX Mainboard raising approximately S$48 million; Chew's Group Limited on its Catalist IPO; and Serrano Limited on its Catalist listing. She also regularly advises on takeovers, delistings, and warrant issues, and has extensive experience in corporate and regulatory compliance matters for listed issuers.

Janet holds an LL.B (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (1990) and was called to the Singapore Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor in 1991.
