Jessica Dye

Jessica Dye is a Senior Associate at A&O Shearman in Singapore, focusing on Technology Law. She is a technology, data and intellectual property lawyer.

She has experience advising on a wide range of complex commercial contracts and transactional matters in APAC and the UK/EU, including technology collaborations and joint ventures, IP licensing arrangements, cloud-computing, outsourcing, data privacy and cybersecurity.

Jess has extensive experience drafting and negotiating a broad range of agreements in technology-rich sectors including IT, life sciences, fintech, manufacturing and supply, e-commerce and telecommunications. She regularly advises businesses on separation and transition issues for M&A transactions, complex data sharing arrangements and emerging technologies, including AI.

She has spent time working in the in-house legal team of a cloud management and IT services provider and has been seconded on three occasions to a television broadcaster, live entertainment provider and a global recruitment agency. Her expertise includes corporate and M&A, intellectual property, complex commercial transactions and technology transactions, with industries spanning technology and communications, media and entertainment.

Jessica holds an LLB from King’s College (2013) and a Legal Practice Course (Distinction) from BPP University (2016). She was admitted as a Solicitor of England and Wales in 2018 and speaks English.
