Lesley FU

Lesley Fu is a Partner in the Infrastructure, Construction & Engineering Practice and an Accredited Specialist in Building and Construction Law appointed by the Singapore Academy of Law. She advises clients on both contentious and non‑contentious construction and engineering matters, including disputes before the Singapore Courts, SIAC, and ICC, as well as adjudications under the Building and Construction Security of Payment Act, mediations, and neutral evaluations. She has also been appointed as arbitrator in SIAC administered arbitrations.

She has acted in a diverse range of construction and engineering disputes, representing clients across residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. Her non‑contentious work includes project advisory for large‑scale developments such as lifestyle community hubs, integrated medical suites, premium office and retail spaces, iconic tourism rejuvenation projects in Singapore, and luxury hotel developments in the Maldives. She is experienced in drafting and advising on bespoke and standard form construction contracts (including SIA, PSSCOC, REDAS and FIDIC), consultancy agreements, bonds and guarantees.

Lesley holds an LL.B. (Hons) from Singapore Management University and is admitted to the Singapore Bar. She is a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (FSIArb) and has been recognised in the 2023 to 2026 editions of Best Lawyers for Construction Law. She completed a three‑month secondment to a leading barristers' chambers in the United Kingdom specialising in construction, engineering, infrastructure and energy disputes.
