Marshall Lim

Marshall Lim is a Director in the Dispute Resolution practice at Drew & Napier, focusing on commercial disputes and criminal defence.

He began his career as a Deputy Public Prosecutor with the Attorney‑General's Chambers, where he handled a wide range of criminal matters including complex casino fraud, serious sexual crimes, drug trafficking, gang and triad‑related crimes, and infringement of intellectual property rights. In 2023, he was seconded to the Public Defender's Office as Assistant Chief Public Defender, where he represented vulnerable persons of limited means and developed policies to improve access to justice.

Now in private practice, he advises on commercial and corporate disputes, including shareholder disputes, breach of contract claims and fraud‑related matters. He also conducts investigations into employee misconduct, fraud, corruption and other forms of corporate malfeasance.

Marshall holds an LL.B. (Hons) and an MPP from the National University of Singapore, and an LL.M. from Columbia University in the City of New York. He is an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.
