Ong Kangxin

Ong Kangxin is a Partner at Allen & Gledhill, specialising in capital markets law and banking and finance law. She has extensive experience acting for both issuers and banks on a wide range of debt capital markets transactions, spanning programme establishments, offerings of notes and perpetual securities, retail offerings, liability management, and securitisations. She also has substantial experience in banking transactions, having represented both borrowers and lenders in complex and high‑value transactions, including IPO financing, profit participation securities financing, onshore‑offshore financing, and development financing.

Kangxin has acted as counsel to the offshore lenders in the grant of onshore‑offshore facilities to Dasin Retail Trust in connection with its IPO; for Frasers Centrepoint Limited in its issue of S$500 million retail bonds; and for the lenders in various financings granted in connection with the issue by City Developments Limited of various tranches of profit participation securities. She has been with the firm since 2006.

Ong Kangxin holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2006. She joined Allen & Gledhill in 2006 and has been a Partner since 2012.
