Sin Boon Ann

Sin Boon Ann is a Consultant in the Corporate & Finance practice at Drew & Napier, specializing in Capital Markets Law. He is recognised in industry publications for his expertise in capital markets, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions.

Boon Ann has handled numerous significant corporate finance and M&A transactions, including acting for Don Agro International on its IPO on the Catalist Board of the SGX in 2020, the first listing of a Russian business on the SGX; acting for The Trendlines Group Ltd on its S$25 million IPO in 2016, the first Israeli incubator organization listed on the Catalist; acting for Lonza Group Ltd on its secondary listing in Singapore in 2011, the first SIX‑listed company admitted to the SGX Mainboard; acting for PetroChina International on its takeover of Singapore Petroleum Company, valued at S$3.2 billion, named Singapore M&A Deal of the Year 2010; and acting for Petra Foods Ltd on its S$156 million IPO, nominated for Cross‑border Equity Deal of the Year (2004).

Boon Ann holds a B.A. and an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (1982, 1986) and an LL.M. from the University of London (1988). He was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1987. He was a member of the government‑appointed Company Legislation and Regulatory Framework Committee (1999) and served as a Member of Parliament for Tampines GRC from 1996 to 2011.
