Rachel Wong

Rachel Wong is a Partner at Allen & Gledhill, specialising in energy law, infrastructure projects, and public‑private partnerships. She has acted as counsel for lenders, sponsors, developers, project companies, and government agencies across a range of industries, including renewable and conventional energy, petrochemicals, telecommunications, transportation, utilities, and hospitality.

Rachel has advised on the agreement to acquire Shell's integrated refining and chemical assets on Pulau Bukom and Jurong Island, Singapore; the establishment of the Fari Islands multi-resort enclave in the Maldives; and SP PowerAssets Ltd on the import trial of 100MW via the interconnector between Malaysia and Singapore. She is experienced in hotel management agreements, EPC contracts, O&M agreements, concession agreements, virtual and physical power purchase arrangements, gas supply, and renewable energy certificate transactions, as well as general corporate and commercial matters including employment law, doing business in Singapore, and distribution and agency arrangements.

Rachel holds an LL.B. (Hons) (First‑Class) from University College London and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2018. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of England and Wales in 2025.
