Shaun Woo

Shaun Woo is a Partner in the Banking & Finance Practice at Shook Lin & Bok LLP, specialising in banking and finance law, acquisition finance, real estate finance, and cross‑border financing. He regularly advises local and international financial institutions, corporates, and sponsors on a wide range of financing transactions, including acquisition, real estate, development, and working capital financing, spanning both bilateral and syndicated structures.

Shaun has acted for a syndicate of banks in the extension of over S$800 million facilities to a prominent property developer for a government land sale site; represented the lender in the extension of S$465 million term loans to a subsidiary of the Kuok Group for the acquisition of a commercial development at 78 Shenton Way; acted for a major Japanese lender on a S$235 million facility for the share acquisition of a property holding company and refurbishment of a commercial building; and acted for a syndicate of banks in the extension of US$150 million sustainability‑linked facilities to an SGX‑listed palm oil producer. He has also acted for Woh Seng Holdings in the financing of its voluntary general offer of Cheung Woh Technologies, and for TAL United in the financing of its offer for Sin Heng Heavy Machinery. He has acted as Singapore legal adviser to a leading global financial institution in connection with the Singapore security package for an over US$4 billion syndicated loan facility to a global insurance and reinsurance broker.

Shaun holds an LL.B (Hons) (First Class) from the National University of Singapore (2017) and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2018.

He was named among Singapore's Most Notable Lawyers under 40 by Singapore Business Review (2026).
