Aloysius Ng

Aloysius Ng is a Partner at Allen & Gledhill LLP, specialising in Banking and Finance Law. He advises financial institutions, corporate borrowers, business trusts, and private equity firms on a wide range of domestic and cross‑border finance transactions, with a strong focus on real estate financing, leveraged acquisition financing, and fund financing transactions.

His experience spans bilateral and syndicated loans, real estate development and investment financings, leveraged and structured financings, takeover financings, project financings, and fund financing transactions across the Asia‑Pacific region, particularly in Southeast Asia and Greater China. He has acted as transaction counsel on a club of five banks for the S$2.1 billion green and sustainability‑linked loan facilities to Asia Square Tower 1, for the joint venture platform of Warburg Pincus LLC and Lendlease Corporation on the S$1,056 million term loan facilities for its acquisition of approximately S$1.6 billion portfolio of assets in Singapore, and for mandated lead arrangers on the S$2.7 billion conventional loan and Islamic Murabahah facilities to Wealthy Link Pte. Ltd. (sponsored by IOI Properties Group Berhad). He also advises on infrastructure and project financings, including public‑private partnership (PPP) projects in Singapore, and has experience in Islamic finance structures, including sukuk issuances and Murabaha‑based facilities.

Aloysius holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and a B.Sc. (Economics and Management) (First Class Honours) from the University of London. He was called to the Singapore Bar in 2010 and is also admitted to practice in England and Wales (2024). He is recognised as a highly regarded practitioner by IFLR1000, ranked in Chambers Asia‑Pacific, and cited by clients for his “reliable service” and “very practical advice on banking/finance matters.”
