May Ng

May Ng is a Director in the Banking & Finance Practice Group at Drew & Napier, specializing in Banking and Finance Law. She advises on a broad range of domestic and international secured and unsecured lending transactions, including bilateral and syndicated banking facilities, acquisition financing, project financing, capital call facilities, real estate financing, working capital facilities, and receivables financing.

May has acted for major domestic and foreign banks and financial institutions, as well as corporate borrowers (including SGX listed entities) and funds. Notable transactions include acting for a Singapore bank on green loan facilities for the acquisition of electric vehicles; advising the sponsor on the restructuring of S$653 million project financing facilities for a waste‑to‑energy plant in Singapore; acting for the project company on financing facilities for the Jurong Island Desalination Plant; and acting for lenders on S$900 million banking facilities for the acquisition and development of land in Singapore. She has also advised on a US$300 million secured multicurrency capital call facility for a Cayman Islands fund and on credit facilities for acquisitions across Hong Kong, New Zealand, and Indonesia.

May holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Sheffield, an LL.M. from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and is qualified as a Solicitor of England & Wales, an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya, and a Qualified Foreign Lawyer in Singapore. She is fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
