Benjamin Leong

Benjamin Leong is a Partner in the Real Estate Practice Group at Harry Elias Partnership in Singapore. His practice focuses on Real Estate Law.

He has extensive experience in the commercial leasing sector and acts for major commercial landlords, including listed companies. He also advises on lease-related issues in respect of landlord and tenant law.

He has acted for developers and purchasers in the sale of properties under the Housing Developers Rules and the Sale of Commercial Properties Rules, and advises on issues related to building management and maintenance and related aspects of real estate work.

His experience includes advising major SGX-listed landlords in various aspects of their leasing portfolios; advising a subsidiary of an SGX-listed entity on the sale of units in an industrial development in Woodlands; advising a subsidiary of an SGX-listed entity on the sale of units in Fernvale Street; advising on the sale of residential units in housing developers' projects in Amber Road, Cuscaden Walk, Everton Road, Meyer Place and Loyang Besar; and advising a subsidiary of an SGX-listed entity on the sale of units in a mixed development in Perumal Road.

He holds an LLB from the National University of Singapore and is a member of the Singapore Academy of Law and The Law Society of Singapore.
