Bernice Loo

Bernice Loo is a Partner at Allen & Gledhill LLP, specialising in Family Law. She has extensive experience in all aspects of family and relationship law, including prenuptial agreements, divorce, child‑related matters, spousal and child maintenance, and the division of matrimonial assets. Her expertise also incorporates wills, estate and family trust matters, and she has substantial experience as lead counsel in family law matters litigated and resolved in the Court of Appeal, High Court, and State Courts of Singapore.

She has led numerous high‑profile and high‑value family law matters, including seminal decisions on family law made by the Singapore courts. She has handled cross‑jurisdictional work across continents, including England, Canada, Australia, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, the United States, and various European countries. She is a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers and has been ranked as a Litigation Star in Family and Matrimonial by Benchmark Litigation since 2021, named among the Top 100 Women in Litigation in Asia‑Pacific, and ranked Band 2 by Chambers High Net Worth in Family/Matrimonial. She is also recognised as a Recommended Lawyer by Doyle's Guide in its Singapore Leading Family & Divorce Lawyers rankings (2020‑2026).

Bernice holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Nottingham. She was called to the United Kingdom Bar in 1995 and admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1996. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
