Chai Chong Low

Low Chai Chong is a Senior Partner in Dentons Rodyk's Arbitration and Litigation and Dispute Resolution practices, specialising in Intellectual Property Law. Since 1987, he has appeared in numerous cases before the High Court and the Court of Appeal in Singapore, with several reported decisions in law journals.

Chai Chong has acted as counsel for many multinational corporations in matters involving patents, trademarks, copyright, passing off, and trade secrets. His practice also encompasses telecommunication and competition law. Notable cases include Towa Corporation v ASM Technology Pte Ltd (patent infringement), Bristol-Myers Squibb Pharma Company v Novartis (patent linkage under the US-Singapore FTA), and Merck & Co Inc v Novartis (declaration proceedings). He has also acted in high-value commercial disputes involving Mareva injunctions, SIAC arbitrations, and claims exceeding US$120 million.

Chai Chong holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (1986). He has been recognised by IAM Patent 1000 as a Silver Band practitioner for litigation (2019–2025), as an IP Star (2020–2026), and as a Litigation Star in Intellectual Property by Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific (2022–2026).
