Chong Zhuo Chen

Chong Zhuo Chen is a Partner (Foreign Law) at Allen & Gledhill, specialising in mergers and acquisitions and corporate advisory. She acts for publicly listed companies, privately held companies, and private equity firms on various cross‑border transactions across a range of industries.

Zhuo Chen has advised Global Logistic Properties on its independent strategic review and subsequent S$16 billion privatisation by way of a scheme of arrangement; Singapore Airlines on its S$508 million privatisation of Tiger Airways by way of a voluntary general offer; and STATS ChipPAC on the S$1 billion pre‑conditional voluntary general offer made by Jiangsu Changjiang Electronics Technology to acquire all shares in STATS ChipPAC.

Zhuo Chen holds an LL.B. (Hons) from Cardiff University (2007) and an LL.M. from the University of Cambridge. She was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2011. She was a Legal Executive with the Firm from 2007 to 2009, re‑joined in September 2013, and was seconded to the Hong Kong office of a leading London firm from June to December 2016.
