Chun Ying Ng

Chun Ying Ng is a Senior Partner and Head of the Tax practice at Dentons Rodyk, specialising in Tax Law. She advises and represents multinational corporations and individuals on a broad range of cross-border tax issues, covering income tax, stamp duty, goods and services tax and transfer pricing, as well as tax disputes.

Chun Ying serves clients across diverse industries including manufacturing, software, retail, financial services, shipping and real estate. Her non-contentious experience includes corporate and IP restructuring, M&A, tax incentives and complex advisory matters. On the contentious side, she has appeared before administrative tribunals and represented taxpayers in audits and objections before the tax authorities on issues including tax incentive disputes, IP writing-down allowances, revenue versus capital gains, tax residency, transfer pricing and GST matters.

Chun Ying holds an LL.B. (Second Upper) from the National University of Singapore (2009). She is a member of the Law Society of Singapore and the Singapore Academy of Law.

She is recognised as an Up and Coming Partner for Tax by Chambers Asia Pacific (2025–2026), a Next Generation Partner for Tax by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific (2024–2026), and a Notable Practitioner for Tax by Asialaw. She was awarded "Tax Lawyer of the Year" for Asia Pacific at the Women in Business Law APAC Awards (2023) and is listed in International Tax Review World Tax as a Notable Practitioner and Women in Tax Leader (2026).
