Elisabeth Liang

Elisabeth Liang is an Associate Director in the Dispute Resolution practice at Drew & Napier, focusing on international arbitration and complex commercial litigation. She represents multinational corporations and high-net-worth individuals at all levels of the Singapore Courts and in international arbitration proceedings.

She was instrumental in securing a US$926 million judgment for the former Prime Minister of Georgia before the Singapore International Commercial Court in proceedings against Credit Suisse Trust Limited for breach of trust, with the SICC awarding the full amount of costs of over S$7 million. She is also acting for BSI Bank Limited (in liquidation) in a dispute arising from the 1MDB scandal, where US$7.5 billion was misappropriated, with a claim of US$394 million against the bank. She acts for a NASDAQ-listed semiconductor company in a SIAC arbitration with claims in excess of US$190 million, and for a Big Tech company in a high-stakes SIAC arbitration involving multiple breaches of contract and counterclaims.

Elisabeth holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (2019) and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2020.

In 2025, she was seconded to the New York office of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, where she worked with lawyers from the international arbitration and SEC investigations teams.
