Feng Chong We

Feng Chong We is an Associate Director in the firm's Intellectual Property & Dispute Resolution departments, focusing on complex cross-border disputes in licensing, technology, and shareholder matters. He has appeared before all levels of the Singapore courts and in international arbitrations conducted under the ICC, SIAC, UNCITRAL, and HKIAC Rules.

He has acted for multinational corporations, investment funds, financial institutions, and high-net-worth individuals. Notable matters include acting for a group of Chinese companies (including state-owned enterprises) in a SIAC arbitration against a Japanese licensor concerning patent license agreements with more than US$67 million in dispute; representing a Taiwanese conglomerate in an ICC arbitration against an Indian listed company in a joint venture dispute in the automotive industry; representing affiliates of a major US multinational in an UNCITRAL arbitration against multiple Asian state-owned entities concerning the misappropriation of coal milling technology, with approximately US$500 million in dispute; and acting for investment companies in the Singapore High Court to recover approximately US$64 million under exchangeable loan agreements.

Chong We holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2019.
