Catherine Lee

Catherine Lee is a Senior Partner in Dentons Rodyk's Intellectual Property & Technology practice group and Head of the Trademarks, Franchising & Distribution practices, specialising in Intellectual Property Law. She is also Co-Head of the Licensing practice, advising clients on the management of their trade mark portfolios and the commercial exploitation of their IP rights.

Catherine has significant experience in commercial contractual work, including franchise agreements, licence agreements, collaboration agreements, distribution agreements and sponsorship agreements across various industries. She also handles the enforcement of IP rights, including trade mark infringement and cancellation actions, oppositions, and disputes involving copyright and trade secrets. She advises clients on compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act, cybersecurity, labelling, advertising and consumer protection laws.

Catherine holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (1999).

She has been recognised as a Leading Individual in Intellectual Property by The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific (2026), as a Trademark Star and one of the Top 250 Women in IP by IP Stars (2020–2026), and as a leading individual in Prosecution & Strategy and Transactions by WTR 1000. She was named Lawyer of the Year for Intellectual Property Law by Best Lawyers in Singapore (2024).
