Mark Chia

Mark Chia is a Senior Associate in Dentons Rodyk's Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group, specialising in Intellectual Property Law. His practice covers the protection, enforcement and commercialisation of intellectual property rights, as well as commercial transactions relating to information technology, and data protection and cybersecurity laws.

Mark has assisted clients with trade mark prosecution, software licensing agreements, data protection compliance under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012, and personal data breach investigations commenced by the Personal Data Protection Commission.

Mark graduated from the Singapore Management University with a Bachelor of Laws (Magna Cum Laude) in 2021, where he was placed on the Dean's List in his third and fourth years and was the recipient of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association Prize for Top Student in International Commercialisation of Intellectual Property. He completed his practice training at Dentons Rodyk and was admitted to the Singapore Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor in 2022.
