Elaine Lew

Elaine Lew is a Partner in Dentons Rodyk's Intellectual Property & Technology practice group and Co-Head of the Tech, Media & Telecomms practice, specialising in Intellectual Property Law. Her practice ranges from intellectual property protection, prosecution and enforcement to general counselling on the acquisition, management, exploitation and enforcement of intellectual property rights, and cybersecurity.

Elaine has particular expertise in trademark applications, prosecutions, oppositions and post-registration matters, and advises on commercial transactions involving intellectual property and technology, including franchising, distribution, software development, e-commerce and cloud services. She has drafted and reviewed agreements across a wide range of industries and has assisted clients with the sale, licensing and negotiation of IP-related arrangements. She also helps clients navigate the complex regulatory landscape in the telecoms sector, ensuring compliance with licensing requirements and assisting with risk management.

Elaine holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (1998) and an M.Sc. in Information Studies from Nanyang Technological University (2006).

She is recognised in Best Lawyers in Singapore for Intellectual Property Law (2025) and has been listed by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific.
