Lorraine Tay

Lorraine Tay is a Partner and head of the Intellectual Property Group in Singapore, with more than 20 years' experience. Her primary practice area is Intellectual Property Law, and she has honed a deep familiarity with international and cross-border issues involving IP commercialisation and brand management.

She applies her legal experience and pragmatic understanding of clients' industries to navigate the global IP landscape and help businesses realise their commercial value. As an effective IP adviser, she arms herself with incisive legal knowledge across various jurisdictions, coupled with a keen commercial appreciation of a client's business drivers.

She gets intimately involved with legal and business teams both in-house and external to map out and execute strategic IP protection and risk management initiatives, bringing tangible value to clients. She often leads on global matters involving international clearances, IP due diligence and audits, and multi-jurisdictional negotiations in IP disputes.
