Genevieve Pang

Genevieve Pang is a Partner at Shook Lin & Bok LLP, specialising in banking and finance law with a focus on financial services regulation, anti‑money laundering and counter‑terrorism financing, data privacy, and white‑collar crime investigations. She advises financial institutions on the broad spectrum of Singapore financial regulatory rules and regulations, and supports clients in securing requisite approvals, authorisations, or exemptions, as well as ongoing compliance issues.

Prior to joining the firm, she was a Deputy Public Prosecutor and State Counsel at the Attorney‑General's Chambers of Singapore, where she oversaw complex white‑collar investigations and prosecutions, and worked closely with law enforcement agencies such as the Commercial Affairs Department and the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau. She has advised on cross‑border investigations involving a global payment processing company and its subsidiaries for suspected fraud and money laundering, and has conducted multiple trials involving offences under the Prevention of Corruption Act and the Securities and Futures Act, as well as criminal breach of trust. She also represented a client in a High Court suit to recognise and enforce a foreign judgment involving claims of US$200 million.

Genevieve holds an LL.B (Hons) from the Singapore Management University (2016) and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of Singapore in 2017. She is fluent in English and Mandarin. She has published on anti‑money laundering, including the Singapore chapter on AML for Lexology's Panoramic guide (2024/2025).
