Julie Sim

Julie Sim is a Partner in the Banking & Finance Practice at Allen & Gledhill, specialising in banking and finance law, project finance, and debt restructuring. She regularly acts for financial institutions, major corporates, REITs, venture debt firms, and private credit firms in domestic and cross‑border financings, including regional and domestic syndicated loans, structured and acquisition financings, and debt restructurings.

Julie has acted as transactional counsel on the financing of a number of high‑profile development projects both in Singapore and the region across various sectors, particularly in the solar space. In addition to being qualified in Singapore, she previously practised in London with international firms and is a practising solicitor of England and Wales, registered with the Solicitors Regulatory Authority of the UK.

Julie holds an LL.B. (Hons) from Leicester University and an LL.M. from King's College, London University. She was called to the Singapore Bar in 1994 and admitted as a Solicitor of England and Wales in 2024.

She has been cited for her banking and finance work in IFLR1000, Asialaw Leading Lawyers, and The Legal 500 Asia Pacific.
